Managing Partner, Stanwich Advisors
Mr. Daugherty founded Stanwich Advisors in 2003 and is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the firm. He also heads the firm's origination efforts and maintains key institutional investor relationships in the Eastern United States, Asia and Australia.
Prior to founding Stanwich Advisors, Mr. Daugherty spent 26 years at Deutsche Bank/BT Alex. Brown, where he founded the Private Fund Group in 1996 and served as Managing Director and Global Group Head. Under his leadership, the Private Fund Group grew to 27 professionals and raised in excess of $13 billion for more than 30 private equity funds across a wide range of investment strategies. Prior to founding the Private Fund Group, Mr. Daugherty was a Managing Director in Bankers Trust's High Yield Group, a Vice President in the Investment Banking Group, and a Vice President in the Corporate Banking Group in Tokyo, Japan.
Mr. Daugherty is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and currently serves as a Trustee for Northeast Investors Trust.
