Daniel Sterenberg is a Managing Director of the Carlyle Group advising on buyout opportunities in South America. He is based in São Paulo, Brazil.
Since joining Carlyle in 2008, Mr. Sterenberg has been actively involved with several Carlyle's investments including FS Security S.A. (“FS”), a leading provider mobile apps and value-added services for the telecom industry, Tempo Participações S.A. (“Tempo”), the largest independent provider of auto, home and personal assistance services in Brazil, Estok Comércio e Participações S.A. (“Tok&Stok”), the leading specialty furniture retailer in Brazil, and, in partnership with Carlyle U.S. Buyout Fund, CVC Brasil Operadora e Agência de Viagens S.A. (“CVC”; Bovespa: CVCB.3), one the leading travel companies in Latin America.
