President, Touchstone Group
Mr. Cunningham is President of Touchstone Group, LLC a firm that raises institutional capital for illiquid alternative investment managers including venture capital, buyout, growth, mezzanine and illiquid specialty credit. Mr Cunningham co-founded Touchstone in 2002. The firm raises capital primarily from institutional investors in North America, Europe and Australasia, and selectively elsewhere. Touchstone’s principals have helped raise billions of dollars from pension funds, endowments, foundations, funds of funds, insurance companies, wealth managers, banks, and family offices. Previously, Mr. Cunningham co-founded an investment management firm that developed the first life-cycle mutual funds, and advised pension fund trustees on asset-liability and governance issues. Following graduate school, he spent seven years working for Bucyrus International, ultimately as General Manager of their Santiago, Chile subsidiary. He has co-authored two books on investing. Mr. Cunningham holds a Masters of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA from Williams College.
